Beautiful boot. Soft Suede, nice patent leather, BUT the foot bed felt a little on the narrow side and it may have been a true 9 in length of the footbed, but maybe because it was a little narrow, it seemed a little long. The calf circ. was just barely wide enough, just tight enough to be uncomfortable. Just a thought, patent leather is very nice, but should be kept on the outside of the boot. The lining is soft, but the patent leather band at the top of the boot wrapped around the top 1 1/2 to 2" of the boot. May not be a problem, but if the shaft of the boot is already snug, I can foresee a problem if you have that patent leather rubbing against your leg. But it is a very classic design, so if you have a slightly narrower foot but still usually wear a B or medium, and you have nice 14" wide calves or smaller, these are for you. I wish I didn't have to return them. Good luck.
